Front-End Developer / Graphic Designer

Purpose driven and detail-oriented Front-End Developer with a strong understanding of advanced CSS concepts and a solid grasp of the fundamentals of design. Eager to utilize the latest technological and design tools, and help others grow along the way.

Front-End Developer

• Helped spearhead the engineering team's successful transition from a JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap oriented front end to one that utilized React, TypeScript, Tailwind and a component based architecture.
• Collaborated with a core developer team to update and build data-driven features such as chat, referral management and forms within the Intiveo software, to be used by both enterprise and commercal users.
• Attended daily standups and sprint meetings to plan, prioritize and review the tasks needed to deliver a quality product on time.
• Met with individial members of the team to support, debug, and solve more difficult problems.
• Worked closely with the UI/UX designer to ensure a clean and consistent experience for the user throughout the entire application.
• Participated in a design sprint to brainstorm, create and user test various options for an upcoming feature upgrade.
• Made adjustments to the codebase to increase the overall web accessibility score.
• Introduced and coached the team on newer technology such as React, Tailwind, Storybook and Chromatic for the component library, and TanStack for a headless data table UI.
• Built complex backend endpoints to fetch data for the front end using Laravel's eloquent ORM. And created php migrations for the existing database as required by the new product enhancements.
• Incorporated opinionated APIs into the product to function seamlessly with the existing existing codebase and updated it to reflect our branded designs.

Founding Member

• Built, designed, and maintained a single-page promotional website for a current film project.
• Optimized website assets and images for quick load times and extended user engagement.
• Setup and designed graphical assets and thumbnails for the startup's primary YouTube channel.
• Helped edit videos for increased viewer engagement accross multiple channels.
• Collaborated with team members to brainstorm ideas, topics, and educational techniques based on research.
• Designed logos, posters, banners and visual graphics for social media and other prommotional and marketing material.
• Provided additional support in day to day business activity such as bookeeping, project management, equipment procurement, etc.
